Situated in the scenic countryside of Kentucky, the Adult and Teen Challenge Kentucky Men’s Rehab, also referred to as Adult and Teen Challenge Dixon Men's Home, provides a faith-oriented program designed for men grappling with addiction issues. Established by David Wilkerson in 1960, this initiative has expanded to nearly 250 locations throughout the United States and over 1,000 centers spread across 95 countries worldwide. The program requires a one-time intake fee of $500, with no further charges incurred throughout the duration of recovery. The curriculum at Adult and Teen Challenge is rooted in biblical principles and aims to address three key areas: healing from the pain caused by substance abuse, fostering reconciliation with Jesus Christ and others, and enabling transformation through faith. Participants engage in sermons, Bible studies, prayer, spiritual retreats, and job training during their stay. The Life Renewal program offers behavioral health support by integrating Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and relapse prevention techniques from a Christian viewpoint. Since the program doesn't employ medical personnel, attendees must have completed a detoxification process before enrollment. To maintain a focus on recovery, communication is restricted to immediate family, and the use of electronic devices is prohibited.
