Nestled just to the west of downtown Missoula, the Adult and Teen Challenge Missoula Women’s Campus provides a faith-based rehabilitation program specifically designed for women facing challenges related to substance use. Established in 1960 by David Wilkerson, there are nearly 250 Adult and Teen Challenge facilities throughout the United States, and over 1,000 centers in 95 countries worldwide. In the Pacific Northwest, clients are required to pay an initial fee of $500 upon entering, with no further expenses during their stay. The program at the Missoula Women’s Campus lasts one year and can house up to 20 women. The curriculum at Adult and Teen Challenge is rooted in biblical principles and centers on three key objectives: healing from the pain caused by substance use, restoring relationships with Jesus Christ and others, and undergoing a profound transformation grounded in faith. Participants will engage in sermons, Bible study, prayer, spiritual retreats, and vocational training as part of their recovery journey. Importantly, the program does not include medical personnel, so individuals are expected to complete detoxification before being admitted. To maintain a strong focus on recovery, communication is restricted to immediate family members and personal electronic devices are prohibited. Additionally, in order to support a drug-free environment, smoking is also not permitted on campus.
The primary focus of this center is addressing issues related to substance use disorders. It offers assistance in stabilizing conditions, developing strategies to prevent relapse, and accessing caring support services.
At Adult and Teen Challenge Missoula Women’s Campus, we understand that navigating the financial aspects of treatment can be challenging. Our program is designed to make recovery accessible for women facing substance use concerns. To facilitate this, we have established a straightforward fee structure. We charge a one-time intake fee of $500, which covers the entire year-long program, with no additional monthly costs. Please note that Adult and Teen Challenge programs do not accept insurance or other third-party payment methods, as our focus is on providing a Christ-centered, holistic approach to recovery that emphasizes spiritual growth and personal transformation. We encourage potential participants to consider other financial resources or support systems that may be available to assist with this intake fee. It is important to mention that all participants must have completed detox prior to admission into our program, as we do not provide medical supervision or detox services on-site. For the duration of the program, we prioritize an environment conducive to recovery, which includes limited contact with individuals outside of immediate family and a strict no-smoking policy. We are committed to walking alongside women on their journey to recovery, helping them to find hope and healing through faith-based principles. If you have any questions regarding our payment options or program specifics, please feel free to reach out to our admissions team.
