Advanced Health and Education provides various outpatient programs for substance use treatment, alongside a primary outpatient mental health initiative, a support group specifically for the LGBTQ+ community, and a robust alumni network. Their offerings combine traditional therapies with complementary approaches, including acupuncture and chiropractic care. The Partial Care program at AHE consists of 5 hours of daily treatment, available 6 days a week, for a duration of up to 45 days. Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) runs 3 days a week, offering 3 hours of therapy each day for up to 16 weeks. Outpatient therapy can include up to 2 sessions per week, with each session lasting a maximum of 2 hours, continuing as advised by the case manager. All programs at AHE employ a holistic strategy, addressing not only individual and group therapy but also areas like family dynamics, healthcare, parenting abilities, employment, and legal concerns. AHE’s core mental health program operates 6 days a week, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., with most participants engaging in treatment for a span of 30 to 45 days. Aimed at fostering lifelong skills for managing mental health issues, this program integrates a variety of essential life skills, including effective communication, anger and stress management, mindfulness practices, emotional awareness, and coping with grief and loss. In addition, AHE incorporates alternative wellness methods, such as yoga, guided meditation, aromatherapy, and eastern philosophies to enhance clients' comfort during treatment and promote a better connection with their bodies. The Perspectives program at AHE focuses on creating a supportive environment for clients who identify as LGBTQ+. This weekly meeting serves as a secure space for participants to discuss shared experiences, navigate collective challenges with the guidance of a leader, and foster mutual support. All past participants of AHE’s Partial Care, IOP, and outpatient services are invited to engage with the alumni community. These groups facilitate the sharing of personal achievements and setbacks within a diverse setting. The alumni network hosts monthly gatherings, seasonal activities, and provides ongoing support throughout the year.
The Rehabilitation Center specializes in the treatment of addiction and associated mental health issues. Our approach involves creating a tailored treatment strategy that simultaneously targets both challenges, ensuring holistic recovery through attentive and compassionate support.
