AMFM Mental Health Treatment is a specialized residential facility focused on gender-specific mental health care, accommodating up to 8 clients at any given time. Situated in Virginia, the center fosters a nurturing and encouraging atmosphere, providing individualized care around the clock. AMFM adopts a holistic perspective on wellness, understanding that recovery involves more than just standard therapy and medication. Each aspect of their program is carefully designed, from evidence-based interventions and supportive therapeutic relationships to meals prepared by chefs that prioritize nutrition and comfort, all executed with deliberate care and meticulous attention. To better understand their clients, AMFM conducts thorough assessments that delve into clients' symptoms, backgrounds, obstacles, and strengths. This insight allows them to create tailored treatment plans to address individual needs. They provide care for both primary and co-occurring conditions. The center offers an extensive 60 hours of clinical programming weekly, which includes medication supervision, several individual therapy sessions each week, family therapy sessions, and case management assistance. AMFM's empathetic and research-supported methodology delves into the underlying issues contributing to mental health challenges, complemented by medication when required. Qualified professionals utilize therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), and acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), among others. Notably, they also provide transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS). Clients benefit from a weekly individual appointment with a psychiatric provider and engage in bi-weekly individual therapy meetings with a counselor. Mindfulness techniques are integrated throughout the program to boost the efficacy of evidence-based treatments, alongside offerings of life skills education and psychoeducation. Nestled in the quaint town of Vienna, AMFM’s residential facility provides a tranquil, home-like setting. It features private and shared rooms, inviting common areas, specialized therapeutic zones, and a beautiful backyard complete with a peaceful porch. Emphasizing a comprehensive recovery strategy, the center incorporates various therapeutic methods, such as somatic experiencing, equine therapy, creative writing, pet therapy, psychodrama, art therapy, yoga, and expressive arts therapy. Upon completing residential treatment, AMFM continues to support clients through extensive aftercare services, which include group therapy, follow-up counseling for families, assistance with professional reintegration, and opportunities for alumni engagement, ensuring an ongoing supportive care network.
At this facility, we focus on addressing both mental health disorders and substance use challenges. Our approach involves personalized, team-based care that targets both concerns for complete recovery and well-being.
AMFM collaborates with numerous providers and accommodates various PPO insurance plans, potentially covering the entire expense of treatment once deductibles are satisfied.
