Located in La Crescent, MN, Angel’s House of Healing is a sober living facility designed for women aged 18 to 55 seeking to overcome addiction and foster a healthier lifestyle. The center welcomes women on probation or those transitioning from treatment, who are dedicated to maintaining a drug-free existence. Angel's House fosters a supportive and structured environment where residents participate in off-site recovery meetings, acquire financial and career skills, establish wellness routines, undergo drug testing, and uplift one another. Angel's House of Healing embraces a holistic method in its recovery process, aiming to nurture the mind, body, and spirit so that each woman can embrace her worth and completeness. Participants are encouraged to exit the program with greater financial, emotional, and mental empowerment. At the onset of the program, residents undergo a 7-day blackout period to initiate their healing journey and detach from detrimental habits. During this time, clients may leave only for job interviews, work commitments, and authorized medical appointments. To ensure safety and accountability, Angel's House implements specific house rules that residents agree to during the admission process. These regulations establish a structured timetable that includes attending off-site recovery meetings and engaging in on-site group coaching. Furthermore, residents observe an 11 p.m. curfew and designated quiet hours, while being mindful of each other's personal space and belongings. Daily activities for the women at Angel’s House include work, educational pursuits, exercise, household chores, and participation in outpatient recovery programs. The residence offers a secure, furnished environment with options for shared or private accommodations. The backyard provides a space for residents to socialize, and visitation is restricted to case workers, social workers, and probation officers. Amber, the visionary behind Angel’s House of Healing, has triumphed over her addiction, rebuilding her life with the support of a nurturing community during her own treatment. Drawing from her personal journey, Amber aims to offer hope and guidance to other women on their road to recovery. She named the center in honor of her mother, Angel.
The center focuses on addressing issues related to substance use, assisting individuals in achieving stability, developing strategies to prevent relapse, and linking them to empathetic support systems.
At Angel's House of Healing, we understand that navigating the financial aspects of recovery can be challenging. To support our residents on their journey to sobriety and wellness, we have established clear and accessible payment options through various insurance providers. We accept multiple insurance plans that cover substance abuse treatment and sober living services. Our admissions team is here to assist prospective residents in verifying their insurance benefits to ensure that they receive the coverage they need. We encourage women seeking recovery to contact us for detailed information about accepted insurance providers and to discuss any out-of-pocket costs that may apply. In addition to insurance coverage, we offer flexible payment plans to accommodate those without insurance or those who may require additional financial support. We believe that every woman deserves access to the healing and support provided at Angel’s House, and we strive to create a financial structure that promotes recovery without the burden of financial stress. Our commitment to transparency means that we will provide all necessary information about costs, payment options, and potential financial aid resources during the admission process. At Angel's House of Healing, we aim to ensure that financial concerns do not hinder your path to recovery and a healthier future.
