APT Access Center provides immediate support for those facing substance use challenges along with concurrent mental health issues. Their services encompass group therapy, individual counseling, family sessions, medication oversight, and medication-assisted treatment (MAT). Additionally, APT Access Center integrates primary healthcare services with their therapeutic offerings. Their intensive outpatient program (IOP) is designed to meet three times a week, delivering a minimum of 9 hours of group sessions, personal counseling, and psychiatric evaluations weekly. The center emphasizes trauma-informed care and utilizes evidence-based therapeutic approaches such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and motivational interviewing (MI). Daily group sessions address a variety of subjects including trauma, relapse prevention strategies, psychoeducation, goal-setting, acupuncture, as well as meditation and mindfulness practices. For MAT, options available include methadone and buprenorphine, with psychiatrists overseeing medication prescriptions and adjustments as needed. Therapy sessions can also be conducted via telehealth when appropriate, including during health crises. Furthermore, APT Access Center provides family and couples therapy aimed at assisting clients in meeting their relational and mental health aspirations. Established in 1970, APT Foundation has a longstanding commitment to substance use recovery. They advocate for access to treatment without financial barriers and maintain an open access policy that welcomes individuals without regard to their financial circumstances.
