The rehabilitation center offers a residential program specifically designed for mothers facing challenges with substance use disorders, providing treatment that lasts between 90 to 120 days in a supportive, family-oriented setting. Women are allowed to bring along their children who are up to 10 years old, which aids in maintaining strong parent-child relationships during the healing process. Treatment starts post-detoxification when necessary, and prospective residents must present proper documentation and a current assessment. The center accepts Medicaid and offers help for those requiring financial assistance for coverage. The therapeutic regimen includes regular group sessions focused on trauma recovery, parenting skills, and life management, as well as individualized and family therapy, crisis intervention, and peer support. Additionally, the center provides on-site medication-assisted treatment (MAT) using medications such as Suboxone, Subutex, and Vivitrol, along with access to primary healthcare and mental health prescriptions. Their approach is informed by trauma sensitivity, prioritizing safety, trust, empowerment, and collaborative decision-making throughout the rehabilitation journey. Both mothers and their children reside in private rooms equipped with personal bathrooms. Children under the age of 5 participate in a licensed therapeutic daycare available on-site, while older children attend local public schools. Mothers contribute to household responsibilities, meal preparation, and childcare as necessary. Visitations are permitted after two weeks, occurring biweekly. The center enforces limitations on phone usage and regulates cigarette consumption to foster a structured environment, promote self-control, and assist women in developing healthier daily habits during their recovery.
The focus of this center is on addressing substance use disorders by assisting individuals in achieving stability, developing strategies to prevent relapse, and linking them with empathetic support networks.
Chrysalis is able to accept Medicaid along with other insurance plans. For women who do not have Medicaid, assistance is provided to help them apply as soon as their child is placed in their care at the center.
