CKF Addiction Treatment, located in Abilene with easy access to I-70, provides outpatient therapy and recovery support for those dealing with substance use disorders. Established in 1967, CKF aims to keep treatment costs manageable through acceptance of Medicaid and private insurance, as well as a sliding scale for many services. The center also features various outpatient programs, including an intensive outpatient program (IOP) that requires attendance for three hours a day, three days a week, as well as a standard outpatient program that meets twice a week for three hours, incorporating both individual and group sessions. Clients are able to connect remotely with recovery coaches positioned at CKF's Salina site. Outpatient clients may also qualify for medication-assisted treatment (MAT) to aid in managing cravings and withdrawal, which is offered in Salina, approximately a 40-minute drive away. A dedicated program for adolescents is available, meeting for one hour each evening from Monday to Friday, and can be accessed virtually.
The center specializes in the treatment of addiction and related mental health issues. Each treatment plan is tailored to address both concerns simultaneously, ensuring individualized and empathetic care for holistic recovery.
CKF welcomes Medicaid and private insurance plans. Additionally, CKF provides a sliding fee scale for its treatment services, which is based on the household size and income level.
