The Emily Program is a specialized facility focused on treating eating disorders, committed to ensuring that everyone has access to top-quality care and the necessary resources for sustainable recovery. They provide a full spectrum of care, including 24/7 inpatient services and outpatient support across various states, with options for both in-person and virtual treatment. Their expert teams work to equip patients, families, and communities with essential skills to foster recovery in a home setting. Starting the recovery process can be daunting, but The Emily Program supports individuals at their current stage and guides them forward gradually. They offer tailored treatment paths for children, teens, and adults, regardless of gender. Their primary objective remains to provide the most effective and supportive treatment for clients and their families, maximizing their chances of success. The highly skilled care teams—comprising therapists, dietitians, and medical professionals—address all facets of this intricate illness. Typical treatment approaches include both individual and group therapy utilizing CBT, DBT, nutritional guidance, and skills training. Patients also engage in therapeutic meals, art, and mindfulness practices such as yoga. Academic coordinators at The Emily Program assist school-age patients in balancing their education while receiving treatment. Facilities can be found in Minnesota, Washington, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia. The comprehensive assessment process at The Emily Program allows them to identify the most suitable care level for each patient. Their extensive range of services covers inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs (PHP/IOP), and outpatient consultations throughout the United States, with both in-person and virtual options available in many locations. The highest care level is inpatient treatment, often necessary for those requiring medical stabilization at the outset of their recovery. Residential care is ideal for patients who are medically stable yet require constant behavioral and medical supervision. Intensive programs (PHP/IOP) offer more structure than standard outpatient services, yet allow for greater independence compared to 24/7 care. Outpatient treatment is the least intensive option, providing a nurturing setting for ongoing recovery. The Emily Program promotes a “Can Eat” culture, asserting that patients can effect positive changes in their eating disorder behaviors through staff-supported therapeutic meals and snacks. The center promotes an inclusive approach to all foods and emphasizes a judgment-free attitude towards eating. Their in-person programs occur in a supportive and welcoming atmosphere. The interdisciplinary staff members are dedicated to their mission, inspired by a community-oriented approach to care. They adhere to clinical best practices at all service levels, and their treatment philosophy is crafted to meet patients at any point in their recovery journey, empowering them and their support networks with lifelong recovery skills. The Emily Program’s admissions team is available to assist clients and their families in beginning their journey from Monday to Thursday, between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM ET, on Fridays from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM ET, and on weekends from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
At this center, individuals struggling with eating disorders can receive comprehensive treatment designed to address their symptoms, develop effective coping strategies, and achieve a restoration of their physical well-being with the support of experienced professionals.
The Emily Program collaborates with various insurance providers to ensure that our services are available to a broad audience.
