The Emily Program provides specialized care for individuals facing eating disorders, focusing on ensuring that everyone has access to top-tier treatment and essential tools for enduring recovery. They offer a range of care options, from 24/7 inpatient services to outpatient support across various states. Both in-person and online treatment modalities are available. Their diverse treatment teams are committed to empowering patients, families, and communities with the necessary skills to maintain recovery in their everyday lives. Beginning the journey to recovery can feel daunting. The Emily Program approaches each patient with understanding and guides them through each phase of their recovery. They provide customized treatment plans for children, teens, and adults of all genders, whether in-person or virtually. Their aim is to deliver the highest quality of care, maximizing the likelihood of achieving successful outcomes. At The Emily Program, skilled professionals, including therapists, nutritionists, and medical personnel, address all facets of this challenging condition. Treatment generally encompasses individual and group therapy emphasizing cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), nutritional guidance, and the development of essential life skills. Patients engage in therapeutic meals and artistic activities, such as yoga and art therapy, to explore their connections with food and body image. Additionally, academic coordinators work to ensure that young patients remain on track with their education while receiving care. The Emily Program has facilities located in Minnesota, Washington, Ohio, Pennsylvania, North Carolina, and Georgia. The Emily Program conducts thorough assessments for eating disorders to identify the appropriate level of care for each individual. They provide a complete spectrum of services nationwide, encompassing inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient programs (PHP/IOP), and outpatient sessions. Both physical and virtual treatment options are accessible in numerous locations. Inpatient care represents their most intensive service level and often serves as the initial step for individuals requiring medical stabilization. Residential care is tailored for those who are medically stable yet require 24-hour behavioral and medical oversight. Intensive programming (PHP/IOP) offers more structure and support than traditional outpatient treatment while allowing for greater independence than full-time care. Outpatient represents their least intensive level of care, creating a nurturing environment to reinforce continued recovery. The Emily Program promotes a “Can Eat” Culture, advocating the idea that patients can positively alter eating disorder behaviors through staff-facilitated therapeutic meals and snacks. They celebrate the inclusiveness of all food choices and uphold a non-judgmental stance regarding eating. The in-person program is hosted in a welcoming and inclusive atmosphere. The multidisciplinary team at The Emily Program is driven by a shared mission rooted in a collaborative approach to patient care, adhering to best clinical practices across all treatment levels. Their model is crafted to support patients at any juncture of their recovery, accommodating various life stages, and equipping individuals and their support systems with the skills necessary for sustainable recovery. The admissions team at The Emily Program is ready to assist clients and their families in initiating the treatment process, available Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM ET, Fridays from 8:00 AM to 7:30 PM ET, and weekend hours Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
