Farrington Specialty Centers Fort Wayne provides specialized treatment for adults and adolescents aged 14 and older struggling with various eating disorders, including anorexia nervosa (AN), bulimia nervosa (BN), binge eating disorder (BED), avoidant restrictive food intake disorder (ARFID), other specified eating disorder (OSFED), rumination, compulsive exercise, and related body image issues. The center offers a range of treatment options, including outpatient services, intensive outpatient programs (IOP), and partial hospitalization (PHP). Their approach involves developing evidence-based, personalized, and trauma-informed treatment plans while adopting a weight-inclusive framework. The PHP, known as Neossia, runs five days a week for 7.5 hours daily, targeting individuals who are medically stable but require significant therapeutic support. It features daily group therapy and nutrition sessions, individual meetings with therapists and dietitians twice a week, weekly medical and psychiatric oversight, as well as experiential activities such as yoga, dance, and movement. PHP duration is tailored to each client's needs. The IOP is designed to occur three days a week for three hours each day, typically lasting 6 to 8 weeks. This program incorporates daily therapy groups, weekly nutrition sessions, a dedicated family day, hands-on nutritional guidance, and experiential therapies. Outpatient services are flexible and can include one-on-one sessions, group interactions, and family involvement, with scheduling adjusted according to individual requirements. Additionally, the Indy clinic provides optional art therapy in group settings over six weeks, with groups formed based on participants' therapeutic interests and art therapy backgrounds.
At this center, individuals struggling with eating disorders can receive dedicated treatment aimed at managing symptoms, developing coping strategies, and improving their physical well-being with professional guidance.
At our rehabilitation center, we collaborate closely with insurance providers for our day treatment programs. During the assessment phase, we will conduct a thorough verification of your benefits at no additional cost. Most of our outpatient services require payment upfront, though we do accept Aetna and select other insurance plans.
