Adult and Teen Challenge Great Lakes is a faith-oriented program designed for women struggling with substance misuse, specifically targeting drug and alcohol addictions. This initiative offers a structured 12-month journey through four progressive stages: Recovery, Renewal, Restoration, and Transition. The emphasis is placed on holistic healing—spiritual, emotional, and physical—while also providing essential educational and social skills to facilitate a successful life after overcoming addiction. As a nonprofit organization, the center maintains low fees, prioritizing long-term recovery for participants, regardless of the time required. Level 1 (14 weeks): Recovery During this phase, residents engage in classes that focus on identifying and altering harmful thought patterns, understanding underlying needs related to substance use, and developing coping strategies to manage cravings. Level 2 (12 weeks): Renewal In this stage, residents work on healing the mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual aspects that often contribute to their addiction. Level 3 (12 weeks): Restoration and Healing Participants explore their sense of purpose and learn how to envision a future free from dependency. This stage is designed to help residents build a strong foundation for their lives, unveiling their individual gifts and strengths. Level 4 (12 weeks): Transition In this final phase, participants take actionable steps to implement their learning. They focus on securing employment and housing, effective time and resource management, and developing leadership skills to contribute positively to their communities.
At this facility, the main focus is on addressing issues related to substance use, assisting individuals in achieving stability, developing strategies to prevent relapse, and linking them to empathetic support networks.
At Great Lakes Adult and Teen Challenge - Men's Center of Hope, we understand that addressing addiction can be a challenging journey, and we are committed to making our services accessible to those in need. As a nonprofit organization, we strive to keep our fees low while providing a comprehensive, faith-based treatment program for individuals battling drug and alcohol addictions. Our structured program spans one year and is divided into four progressive levels: Recovery, Renewal, Restoration, and Transition. Each level is designed to facilitate spiritual, emotional, and physical healing, along with the social and educational training necessary for a successful life post-addiction. While we do not bill insurance directly, we encourage individuals and families to explore their insurance coverage options for potential reimbursement. We strive to work with various providers to help our residents obtain the support they need. Additionally, we offer flexible payment plans to accommodate different financial situations, ensuring that every participant can access our program regardless of their financial circumstances. If you have questions about payment options or need assistance with navigating insurance requirements, please do not hesitate to contact us. Our dedicated team is here to support you on your journey toward lasting recovery and hope.
