Health Care Resource Centers (HCRC), previously known as Community Substance Abuse Centers, focuses on the treatment of substance use disorders, providing medication-assisted treatment (MAT) with methadone and buprenorphine aimed at addressing opioid addictions. The center fosters a supportive and accepting atmosphere, ensuring customized care that meets the specific needs of each patient. HCRC New Bedford offers a variety of services, including: The operating hours for the treatment center are Monday to Friday from 5 AM to 3 PM, while medication distribution is available Monday through Friday from 5:30 AM to 12:30 PM, with an additional slot from 5 to 5:30 AM for approved personnel, and Saturday from 6 AM to 11 AM. Patients may access the clinic via the PT-1 bus route, depending on their insurance coverage, and can also utilize the SRTA bus service to reach the North Front Street and Kilburn Street stop.
This rehabilitation facility specializes in helping individuals overcome substance use issues alongside related mental health challenges. The treatment approach is tailored to tackle both aspects simultaneously, ensuring that each client receives empathetic and individualized support for thorough recovery.
At our rehabilitation center, we embrace a diverse array of insurance options to ensure that treatment is within reach and cost-effective for our clients. For Veterans, we are integrated into the VA Community Care Network via Optum and TriWest at several facilities, pending prior authorization.
