Lifeline Recovery Center is a residential treatment facility located in Paducah, Kentucky, that is grounded in faith and provides distinct campuses for male and female clients. The center's mission revolves around delivering solutions to addiction that are centered on Christ, with an aim to foster spiritual revival, mental clarity, and physical health. Key principles include accountability, faith, and a commitment to Jesus Christ. During their stay, clients are expected to contribute to their treatment costs through employment income, with the remainder covered by insurance or private payment. Established in 2004, Lifeline has assisted over 2,000 individuals, achieving a reported 60% success rate for maintaining sobriety after one year and a 100% job placement rate while in the program. The center is currently in the process of expanding its services. They have relocated their men’s campus to a larger 45-acre site to accommodate more clients and intend to shift their women’s campus to a similar nearby location. Lifeline follows an abstinence-based model combining a 12-step Celebrate Recovery curriculum, Bible study, counseling, community service, job training, and employment options. Group classes address various practical subjects, including exercise, peer support, Christian values, parenting, anger control, and financial literacy. The program lasts between 9 to 12 months and consists of three phases. The first phase emphasizes counseling, Bible study, and support from peers. In the second phase, clients engage in full-time work and commence their reintegration into society. The final phase provides transitional housing along with ongoing assistance. Clients receive a completion certificate upon finishing all three phases. Medication-assisted treatment (MAT) is not part of Lifeline's approach. The center employs more than 40 staff members, many of whom are graduates of the program, and benefits from the support of over 75 community volunteers. Clients can begin writing letters to their families immediately. After the initial two weeks, they may make weekly phone calls from a landline. Once clients get to work, they have limited access to a cell phone, facilitating responsibility management while focusing on recovery. Lifeline permits smoking in designated areas and offers transportation for work and court obligations. Community volunteers contribute by helping transport clients to fulfill their commitments.
The primary focus of this center is on addressing substance use disorders. It offers assistance in achieving stability, developing strategies to prevent relapse, and linking individuals to empathetic support services.
At our center, we welcome insurance coverage for the initial period of 75 to 150 days. As clients progress to the second phase of their journey, they will enter the workforce and contribute $3,000, which encompasses meals, accommodation, education, and assistance.
