Pecan Haven is a residential rehabilitation center set on a tranquil 35-acre pecan orchard in northeastern Louisiana. Established in 2015, it serves adult men and women facing challenges with substance use. At the time of admission, each client undergoes a comprehensive assessment to identify their unique treatment requirements. The center provides a residential treatment program that spans from 30 to 90 days, with the option to extend for detoxification. For clients unable to engage in a full-time program, they also offer an intensive outpatient program (IOP) to ensure ongoing support and recovery. The facility is staffed with qualified medical professionals who oversee clinically managed detox to alleviate withdrawal symptoms and maintain client safety and comfort. Clients at Pecan Haven participate in a structured daily routine that includes 40 hours of clinical treatment each week, encompassing both individual and group counseling, evidence-based therapies, and engaging group activities. The center comprises several cabins with a total of 82 beds, alongside a multipurpose facility featuring a cafeteria, fitness area, and therapy rooms. Recreational options include tennis, basketball, and beach volleyball, along with daily meals and snacks provided to all residents. The staff is highly trained in delivering necessary medications responsibly.
This center specializes in the treatment of substance use disorders alongside accompanying mental health issues. Your individualized treatment strategy focuses on both conditions simultaneously, ensuring compassionate care for holistic recovery.
Pecan Haven is now welcoming the five primary Medicaid insurance plans in Louisiana, which include Aetna Better Health, Healthy Blue, AmeriHealth Caritas, Louisiana Healthcare Connections, and United Healthcare.
