The Link Halfway House is a certified residential program designed for adult men aged 19 and above who are in recovery from long-term substance use issues and related mental health concerns. Participants are required to have successfully completed a brief treatment program and to have maintained sobriety for a minimum of 30 days. This program offers 9 to 12 months of organized support in a sober living environment for those who are ready to transition from intensive treatment. The treatment approach is based on the 12-step philosophy and emphasizes a holistic perspective. Every resident is provided with a personalized recovery plan that incorporates both individual and group therapy, educational sessions, relapse prevention strategies, job readiness coaching, and training in essential life skills. Licensed professionals and peer support staff collaborate closely with residents to foster emotional health, accountability, and essential skills for long-term recovery. Residents stay in a secure, home-like atmosphere with around-the-clock staffing. They are required to work 40 hours a week or volunteer for 20 hours if they are receiving disability benefits, and are responsible for overseeing their own medication. Upon completing the program, graduates are offered free outpatient therapy and the opportunity to connect with an alumni support group. Many choose to continue their recovery journey at the nearby Lincoln or Truman Houses, which provide ongoing structure and peer engagement.
The Rehabilitation Center specializes in addressing substance abuse issues along with simultaneous mental health disorders. Our individualized treatment plans focus on both issues simultaneously, ensuring a compassionate approach for thorough recovery.
The admissions staff at The Link will collaborate with you to identify the most suitable payment solutions tailored to your requirements, guaranteeing you receive optimal care.
