The Ridge Recovery Center, an integral part of Hartford HealthCare—Connecticut's top healthcare provider—spans 41,500 square feet and serves as a modern residential treatment facility aimed at adults grappling with addiction and concurrent mental health issues. Their comprehensive recovery strategy includes detoxification, focused residential care, and a prolonged sober living initiative. Set on nearly 60 acres of peaceful land, The Ridge Recovery Center ensures a quiet, rejuvenating atmosphere surrounded by nature, featuring woods, ponds, and picturesque walking paths. Residents enjoy private, spacious accommodations with private bathrooms and are treated to nutritious meals crafted by chefs, including gluten-free and vegetarian selections. Their holistic treatment options encompass personalized care plans, mental health support, family and community involvement, as well as access to medical experts and 12-step programs. On the main level of the facility, there is a dedicated 16-bed withdrawal management program that allows patients to undergo medically supervised detoxification from substances like drugs and alcohol. This may also involve medication-assisted treatment (MAT) and acu detox, a therapeutic acupuncture technique designed to alleviate withdrawal symptoms and curb cravings. The residential area, located on the first floor, includes separate wings for men and women, each featuring 18 private rooms. Common amenities include a large circular room for group events, a dining alcove, recreational areas, a gym outfitted by Planet Fitness, and extra rooms for gatherings, movies, and games. Various activities such as yoga, meditation, and nature walks are conducted on the expansive grounds. On the top floor, the extended stay program consists of nine sober living suites for individuals who prefer to maintain a structured and sober lifestyle, available for daily, weekly, or monthly rates. The Ridge Recovery Center provides an array of activities and programs rooted in holistic, evidence-based, and trauma-informed care. Their individualized approach ensures tailored treatment plans may include options like pet therapy, art therapy, as well as individual, group, or family counseling sessions. Additionally, they organize various group discussions focusing on crucial topics such as life skills, coping strategies, trigger identification, emotional well-being, and financial literacy.
The rehabilitation center specializes in addressing substance use issues alongside accompanying mental health challenges. Your tailored treatment strategy will focus on both conditions simultaneously, ensuring compassionate and individualized care for a holistic recovery experience.
