Tulsa Boys’ Home stands as the oldest and largest residential treatment facility in Oklahoma, catering to boys aged 13 to 18. It accommodates youth referred by the Department of Human Services, as well as those participating in a private Substance Use Disorder Treatment Program. The center addresses issues related to emotional trauma, behavioral difficulties, and substance use disorders, employing a holistic approach informed by over a century of expertise. The center's philosophy emphasizes that past experiences influence behavior, and healing occurs through building connections. Boys benefit from various therapies, including individual counseling, group sessions, and family involvement, supplemented by innovative therapies such as equine therapy. These interventions aim to enhance self-esteem, foster social skills, and develop emotional resilience, allowing boys to forge healthy relationships with themselves and others. Situated on a 168-acre campus in a serene rural setting, residents have access to an on-site school, various recreational opportunities, and a well-structured daily schedule. Boys participate in educational programs through Sand Springs Public Schools, with options to recover lost academic credits through the Virtual Learning Academy. With offerings in sports, arts, and animal therapy, Tulsa Boys’ Home provides a nurturing and stable environment that promotes personal growth and lasting transformation.
The Rehabilitation Center provides specialized treatment for addiction and mental health issues. Here, you will experience personalized care tailored to your specific needs and diagnosis, acquire essential skills for your recovery journey, and build meaningful relationships in a healing atmosphere.
