Established in 1974, The Way Back Inn Grateful House is a nonprofit organization committed to assisting individuals in their journey to recover from substance use and gambling disorders. The center provides various care levels, including Extended Residential Care (ERC), Intensive Outpatient (IOP), and Outpatient (OP) services. With a capacity of 10 beds, the facility is designed to offer long-term, structured support for adult men, with stays ranging from 90 days to one year. Participants in the ERC program benefit from clinical support, accommodation, and meals, all tailored to their unique treatment needs. Upon completing this program, individuals can step down to Recovery Homes, receiving reduced clinical assistance as they prepare for life on their own. Additionally, the center offers IOP services for in-person participation and OP services available through Zoom or telehealth. Teenagers aged 13-17 also have access to outpatient support. The center adopts a holistic approach to recovery, emphasizing customized treatment plans, behavioral health services, and the development of life skills. Weekly family psychoeducation therapy groups are organized to aid patients and their families in addressing addiction-related issues and their effects on family dynamics. The overarching mission of the center is to foster enduring recovery through comprehensive support, therapeutic interventions, and active community engagement.
The rehabilitation center specializes in addressing substance use disorders alongside associated mental health issues. Each individual's treatment strategy is designed to tackle all conditions simultaneously, ensuring tailored, empathetic support for complete recovery.
